This proposal seeks to develop the vacant site into new residential use through the development of a 2-phase development, 1A & 1B, including affordable new dwellings; a mixture of 3-bed semi-detached and terraced housing; flat block containing 1-3bed apartments; and a single storey retail convenance unit with associated landscaping and parking works.

Renton Rd, Greenock, is situated within a general residential area on the north boundary slope of the Green Belt area of Lurg Moor and Corlic hill. The intent is to continue the streetscape along this vacant gap site along Renton Road, with modern newbuild houses of a traditional style which meets the character of the surrounding area while prioritizing appropriate design and density.
