Superior Homes (Kenya) Ltd appointed our Practice, in conjunction with Adventis Architects, to design an integrated development of 1550 homes within a 500 acre Site to include shopping, schools, support services and recreational space. The primary objective of the brief was to design a development to provide security together with a high quality of life for all of the residents.

The resultant Greenpark is a master-planned gated community with over 500 completed and occupied homes in Athi River, 30 km from the Nairobi Central Business District. Greenpark Estate is considered to be the best gated community in East Africa.

Pazuri at Vipingo is a master-planned residential and holiday home estate located in Vipingo, north of Mombasa. The estate consists of 372 affordable and luxurious units with a choice of two, three, and four-bedroom maisonettes, bungalows and villas, each occupying a quarter-acre with scenic and unparalleled views of the Indian Ocean.

We were appointed to design a masterplan and a variety of house types. We researched local vernacular architectural forms and materials as a precursor to developing the design solutions.
