Holiday Inn Express Hotel

This 5-storey Holiday Inn Express hotel is a flagship development within the Dundee City Waterfront Masterplan. Its prominent city centre location offers views across the River Tay and its contemporary design sets a precedent for subsequent Masterplan developments.

The bold use of pre-patinated copper cladding encasing the main circulation core provides a distinctive visual landmark on approach to the city from the Tay Road Bridge.

Accommodation comprises 93 bedrooms, meeting rooms, and associated facilities. The hotel design is carefully integrated with ground floor recreational, leisure and retail units providing a mixed use development that enhances the Dundee City Centre Waterfront.

This successful project marked the seventeenth UK Holiday Inn Express Hotel completed by the Practice since the mid 1990’s.
